Part concert, part prayer, it drew together musicians of different faiths to explore musical connections between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Who knew that an Ottoman version of the Psalter was published in the seventeenth century? I certainly didn’t. Nor had I heard of the sixteenth-century composer Salamone Rossi, a sort of Hebrew Monteverdi. The thunderous standing ovation at the end said it all – Anders
