Leaders from several faith communities joined together last Thursday 23rd April to celebrate St George’s Day by walking between our places of worship. We started at St John’s Wood Church, and made our way via the Liberal Jewish Synagogue to the Regent’s Park Mosque, where they gave us tea. Abigail pictured the group as we were setting off.
The figure in white in the centre is a Zoroastrian. The priest holding the other end of the flag is Cardinal Nichols. The Guardian, in its Friday 24th April issue, ran a delightful and sympathetic story about the walk.
