For many years, Anders has read Dante’s Purgatorio from Divine Comedy every Lent on his own account. This year he invites members of the congregation to join him when Anders will introduce one canto on each of Sunday afternoons, and the session will end with part of the canto being read aloud.
Each session takes place in the Ambulatory, and lasts just under an hour. Tea and coffee will be available 15 minutes beforehand. You don’t need to bring a copy of Divine Comedy – texts are provided.
On Sunday 1st March and Sunday 15th March the sessions will begin at 4.45p.m On 22nd March it will be earlier, at a time to be announced. The final session will now be held after Easter and is to be arranged.
