The bishops of Edmonton and Willesden will lead a most interesting ‘Racial Justice and Black History Pilgrimage’ on Friday 24 October – you are welcome to join Anders, who is planning to take part. It starts at St Margaret’s, Westminster, at 10am, where Olaudah Equiano was baptised (he is really interesting; Google him if you’ve not heard of him; Anders is very proud of having helped him to be commemorated in the Church of England’s Calendar, on 30 July), and finishes seven miles later at approximately 4pm at St Clement’s Notting Dale (close to the Grenfell Tower). There is a stop for lunch at the headquarters of the Anglican Communion at 1.30pm (the published details don’t make this clear, but assume to bring your own packed lunch, while tea and coffee provided).
Start time: 10.00. at St. Margaret’s, Westminster.
Approximate lunchtime: 13.30. at Anglican Communion, Tavistock Crescent.
Approximate finish time: 16.00. at St. Clement’s, Notting Dale
