This Sunday we continue to reflect on the manifestation of Christ’s glory in the world. In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus declares himself to be the anointed one of God in his home synagogue in Nazareth. There are two choral services today. At our 11am Choral Eucharist, the mass setting is Batten’s Short Communion service and the motet is ‘O Sing Joyfully’, also by Batten. The organ voluntary is Cocker’s Tuba Tune. At 5pm, there is a Choral Evensong with our Chamber choir. The motet will be ‘Teach me, O Lord’ by Attwood. There will also be a said Holy Communion service at 8am and a Morning Service on Zoom (the codes are in our Weekly Sheet) at 10am.
