The arc of the Christmas story is brought to a beautiful conclusion at the feast of Candlemas as we celebrate the presentation of the infant Christ in the temple. In St John’s Wood we celebrate with a change to our usual pattern of services on this Sunday 2 February. Our candlelit Choral Eucharist is at 5pm. The mass setting is Byrd’s Mass for Five Voices and the motet is his Synex Puerem. At 11 am we will celebrate a Choral Mattins with our Chamber Choir.
