We will keep Harvest Festival this year on Sunday 13 October. A delegation from the Diocese of Berlin-Brandenburg is visiting the Diocese of London over that weekend, and it will be a great pleasure to welcome back to our own parish the Revd Dr Cornelia Kulawik, who will be at our morning services. The 11am Choral Eucharist will be followed by a bring-and-share lunch in the Ambulatory, at which everyone is warmly welcome.
As in previous years, there will also be a special collection of harvest gifts in aid of two homelessness charities that we have now supported for some time, St Mungo’s and The Upper Room. You can bring Useful Goods to offer in front of the altar, and/or contribute to a special collection of money. Our partner charities have produced a fairly detailed list of what they find Really Useful (and what they find less useful), which will appear in the 6 October issue of the Weekly Sheet.
