Olive grove at Gethsemane
During the year the clergy offer courses on scripture, and theology or church history. These tend to be concentrated in the October - May period.
This year there has been a Sunday afternoon course on the Nicene Creed, which has now ended. There is also a Tuesday evening course on the Psalms, which is ongoing. Sunday afternoon sessions take place in the Hall, and begin with tea at 4.30. The session begins at around 4.50, and lasts about an hour. Most participants stay on for Evensong at 6.30.
The Tuesday evening course takes place at 3 Cochrane Street, the Curate’s house. Soup, bread and cheese are offered at 7, and the course begins at about 7.40. It finishes by 9.

From time to time other courses and events take place, including a biennial Parish Retreat - the next of these will be on September 24-26, 2010, led by Fr Gregory Platten.
